do you push yourself outside your comfort zone?

often?

its scary in unchartered waters, it can be lonely

as some of you know, my husband went to Chad Africa a couple weeks ago to support one of his best friends

they went in as scouts for 13 days, to see what the country was like. we have only seen pics and read articles on the places and people of N'Djamena Chad {Our dear friends, the Wiebes, will be moving there for full time mission work soon.. they are like family to us... and our kids}

it was time to see first hand.. touch... feel..

and so they went

to a city they could barely spell (N'Djamena is said Jamena. Guess the ND is to throw us americans off)

in a country that speaks a different language

outside their comfot zone

the smell hit them as they landed in N'Djamena.. Chuck describes it as burning garbage

and off they went to explore this land that will soon be home to 6 of our most favorite people in the world

chuck took hundreds of photos and video and we have lots of time to share that with you

he experienced God in fresh ways and delighted in the Chadians simple pure love of life

here is one video of their trip..these 4 minutes will change your life.. or at least they should

amazing, isn't it

totally outside their comfot zone, yet right in Gods hands

priceless

p.s. more info and pics of the trip to come..scouts honor
