My crew of seniors this season was amazing!! They really brought it.

In fact, they brought their grandmas

their horses

their boyfriends

their brothers

their guitars

their collector cars

their besties

their A game

their mommas

their quiet sides

their sisters

their awesomeness

their good looks

their smiles

What a great group of kids I had this season. I love seniors. I felt old this year thinking that my 20 year reunion is coming up.... how is that possible? I can remember my senior photos, feels like yesterday.....

p.s- if you still need to get your senior photos done, get ahold of me pronto!! there is still time

One of my favorite things to do is photograph seniors.

They are full of life, loaded with personality, excited for the future, and usually up for an adventure.

I asked my mom what she wanted for mothers day, and she told me "senior photos"

HUH?

Apparently back in the olden days, senior pics weren't quite as they are today. She said something about a dark cardigan sweater and a strand of pearls. Black and white of course.

BORING!

Since she recently turned 62, she is "officially" a senior

we loaded up the car with all the outfit changes and props and headed to Laconner. (I really wanted to eat at Calico Cupboard, ahem, I mean I was looking for the best place to shoot for the client)

One of the things I tell my clients is .. do not be afraid of color. It photographs so well. Good job mom (she picked out this coat all by herself, but she did borrow and wear a shirt of mine, we ARE doing senior pics you know, all the girls do this!!)

I had mom bring some meaningful items. This is a family quilt. Perfect. Priceless. (I did put a tarp under it so I didn't ruin the family heirloom, I am not that crazy :)

Doesn't this cabin look the olden days.. perfect for "senior pics" right???

Just one of my favorites. She is rockin the infinity scarf. Guess she does take my fashion advice.

mom is very musical. We HAD to include that. She plays the piano and the dulcimer. (I know you are wondering what that is... kinda like a harpy thing that she hits with hammers)

what are "Senior" pics without the grandkids? I might be a bit biased here, but these are pretty darn cute.

ok, and one last photo.. to prove once again, that having your photo taken can be fun....

p.s.- yes these images are from last year mothers day, and yes, i am just now getting to edit them. Just in time for this years moms day present. I ain't no dummy :) my momma raised me right.
